R-Drive Image 4.5 is a potent utility providing disk image files creation for backup or duplication purposes. A disk image file contains the exact, byte-by-byte copy of a hard drive, partition or logical disk and can be created with various compression levels on the fly without stopping Windows OS and therefore without interrupting your business. These drive image files can then be stored in a variety of places, including various removable media such as CD-R(W)/DVD, Iomega Zip or Jazz disks, etc.
R-Drive Image restores the images on the original disks, on any other partitions or even on a hard drive's free space on the fly. To restore system and other locked partitions R-Drive Image is switched to the pseudo-graphic mode directly from Windows or bootable version created by the utility is launched from CD disc or diskettes.

Celestia is a real-time, 3D space simulator that lets you fly around galaxies, checking out all the fascinating things they contain - from planets and stars to asteroids and space stations. It may only be a simulation, but, unless you win the lottery, it is probably the closest you're going to get to the real thing.
For free software, Celestia is extremely complete. It has a wealth of demos, online and offline user guides, a wiki, a forum and even a Wikipedia entry! It is just as well that all this help is available, however, because it is not a particularly easy program to use. In theory, you navigate around the universe by using the mouse or the keyboard. Right-clicking on an object (such as a planet) will bring up various options, while in the tool bar you can perform more complex tasks, such as searching for Bayer designations, taking videos, tracking objects and configuring options. Although all that sounds pretty normal, it is not as easy as it seems.
I found the controls to be jerky and non-intuitive, and despite spending a fair amount of time playing around with it, didn't manage to get it working as well as I suspect it can. Briefly reading the manuals didn't help either, and I think that to get the most out of Celestia, you would have to put some serious research in.
Astronomy fans and those with a burning interest in our galaxy will surely make the effort that is needed to really get the most out of Celestia. The program definitely encourages serious dedication and obviously has been created by a person - Chris Laurel - who loves what he does. Celestia is meticulously researched and put together, and there is a multitude of extra resources on the website.
Celestia: a beautiful and fascinating program for those willing to make the effort.

There's nothing worse in computer life than deleting important files by accident. Fortunately there are software tools that can help us recover from the loss.
One of them is Smart Data Recovery. This tool analyzes your hard drive and displays a list with all the documents that have been recently deleted and can be recovered with a somewhat high degree of success. Of course, there are many factors to be taken into account: not all files are suitable for recovery, and this depends on the amount of time that has passed by since you lost them and, above all, on the work being done in your hard drive during that period of time – meaning that the more you have been moving data around your drive, the less likely you are to recover lost files.
Smart Data Recovery is very easy to use. Simply click on the "Find" button and the program will analyze the system in search of deleted files. After that it will display a list where you can choose which files you want to restore and which ones you want to wipe out for good. This list includes extended information about each file, such as time, size and the degree of recoverability.
During our tests we were able to recover most of the data we had previously deleted. However, Smart Data Recovery didn't always find the files we were looking for, even if they had been deleted just a few seconds before to test the program.
